News Brief Feb 01, 2014 SJVNL Maharashtra wind energy project starts generation Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd´s (SJVNL) maiden wind energy project in Maharashtra has started generation. "Fifteen of the 56 wind power turbines of 47.6 MW Khirvire project in Ahmednagar district have started generating energy,´ SJVNL deputy general manager Vijay Verma told IANS. The project, with an annual energy generation of 85.65 million units of electricity, would be fully commissioned by March this year, he said. Web Exclusive Jul 03, 2013 Gamesa wins 46 mw wind project order from ITC in AP ITC Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division, an ITC group compamy, has signed an agreement with Gamesa Wind Turbines to set up a 46 mw wind power project at Tagguparthi in Andhra Pradesh. Under this contract, Gamesa would be supplying 23X2 mw turbines to ITC. The commissioning is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2014.
