Gamesa Wind Turbines bagged its latest order from the New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP), to supply 5.95 MW in the state. The project is being executed at the Rekalakunta site in AP’s Anantpur district and NREDCAP is the third PSU to have placed orders with the company. Ramesh Kymal, CMD, Gamesa India, said, “The new order makes us feel stronger in the wind energy markets. It will facilitate our growth in terms of size and in furthering the double-digit market share which we already hold here. Our happiness triples since NREDCAP becomes the third order among the PSUs - following orders from Gas Authority India and Oil India.” With this, the company’s combined installation in Andhra Pradesh will mark 11.05 MW. This is Gamesa’s second project in Andhra Pradesh, which will further strengthen its presence in the state.Contact: Gamesa Wind TurbinesTel: (44) 30989898Web: www.gamesacorp.com
