THDC India Limited is a Joint Venture of Govt. of India and Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. The Equity is shared in the ratio of 75:25 between GoI and GoUP. The Company was incorporated in July’ 88 to develop, operate and maintain the 2400 MW Tehri Hydro Power Complex and other hydro projects. The Company has an authorised share capital of ` 4000 cr. THDCIL is a Mini Ratna Category-I and Schedule ‘A’ CPSE.
Batot Hydro Power Limited is a Public Limited Company incorporated with
the specific object of developing a 3.5 MW small hydro power project at
Chamba, Himachal Pradesh and belongs to Weizmann Group.
The company is an independent power producer signed an MOU with the Sikkim Government in September 2008 for the implementation of the 88 MW Ting Ting Hydro Electric Project JLHEP on and bsp, Build, Own, Operate and Transfer BOOT basis. The operational period extends for 35 years from commercial operation date of the project. Shiga Energy Pvt Ltd is promoted by the DANS Group. It is a special purpose vehicle for the implementation of Tashiding Hydro Electric Project.
